When issuing an e-Invoice, you don’t always need to go through the entire process from scratch—especially when billing the same customer or selling the same products/services. MyInvois offers a Copy as Draft feature, which allows you to duplicate a previous invoice, saving time and effort.
This method is particularly useful for businesses that:
✔ Bill the same customers regularly (e.g., subscription-based services, professional fees)
✔ Sell the same products or services to different customers
✔ Have fixed pricing for standard services
However, if you run a retail or B2C business where customers and products differ frequently, this method may not be practical for you.
Step-by-Step Guide: Copying a Previous E-Invoice
2. Find the Invoice You Want to Copy
- Click on “Documents”

- Search for the previous e-Invoice you want to copy

- Scroll to the far right of the invoice entry
3.Copy the E-Invoice as a Draft
- Click on the dot button

- Select “Copy as Draft”
✅ You will immediately be redirected to a new e-Invoice creation page.
4. Modify the E-Invoice Details
- Amend the e-Invoice Code if necessary

-
- Verify the Buyer/Customer Information

📌 If billing the same customer : No need to make changes, just ensure the details are correct.
📌 If billing a different customer : Click “Clear” and enter the new customer’s information.

💡 Example from My Experience:
I run a company secretary firm, and my charges are fixed for most clients. When issuing e-Invoices, I simply copy the previous invoice and only change the customer details. This method significantly reduces processing time.
5. Review & Modify Line Items
- Under the Line Item page, review the products/services copied from the previous invoice
- Update quantity, descriptions, or pricing if needed

6. Fill in Additional Information (If Required)
- Add any extra details, such as payment terms, shipping details, or other necessary notes

7. Review & Submit the E-Invoice
- Carefully check all details to ensure accuracy

- Click “Sign & Submit Document”
8. Sign the E-Invoice
- Enter your MyTax ID and password
- Tick the confirmation box
- Click “Submit”

✅ A “Documents Submitted!” message will appear

9. Print & Review the Final E-Invoice
- Click on the generated e-Invoice code

-
- Print the e-Invoice and send to customers

Is This Method Suitable for Your Business?
✔ Ideal for:
- Businesses with fixed services or standard pricing
- Professional service providers (accounting firms, secretarial firms, consultants)
- Businesses with recurring customers
❌ May not work well for:
- Retail or B2C businesses where products and customers vary frequently
- Businesses with custom pricing for each transaction
